 WAREHOUSING
In Felixstowe we operate from premises just outside the Port Area. We also have sub contracted warehousing in Ipswich, Tilbury and Grangemouth.
Remote Transit Shed
The Felixstowe Warehouse offers Enhanced Remote Transit Shed (ERTS) facilities. Containers can be positioned direct ex ship for immediate unloading and loading. The warehouse is also superbly placed to handle seal checking and for last minute adding or extracting of cargo from containers.
Plant and machinery
In keeping with our profile the warehouse regularly handles heavy equipment - Cranes, Plant, machinery as well as the safe loading and unloading of motor vehicles of all shapes and sizes. In most cases containers can be returned directly to the Shipping Lines stacks within the port further saving on costs.
Heavyweight Containers
One of the unique selling points for the warehouse is its positioning and ability to unpack containers that are too heavy for UK roads and distribute the contents throughout the UK by tautliner trailer. This service offers significant cost savings by offering a 'Port - Centric' Solution and legally allowing clients to take advantage of the maximum payload of a container.
Rail Terminal
A rail facility is also under development which will allow our own reserved train service to be split, handled and shunted.
